Storm Problems
The ground water from the storm made its way into this home, and the carpeting was saturated and became non-salvageable. The pooling water was quickly suctioned away by our SERVPRO technicians to preserve the walls, though not the baseboards. Little damaged occurred to the drywall because the water had little time to wick upward because of our quick removal. Moisture removing equipment was set up through the area and ran for several days to achieve an RH, relative humidity of about 15%. The standard procedure of dispersing chemical agents for sanitizing, deodorizing and disinfecting came next.
